    No way am I disappointed in the effort or our execution. We were going head to head with one of the better teams in the country and we just didn't get it down the stretch.

    Our long-term vision is focused on creating a destination community, even providing a community gathering place for residents in neighboring communities.

    It was a great day for all involved, for our young men especially. They did an exceptional job of executing the game plan. We were moving our feet extremely well against the complicated (Princeton offense) system that Richmond runs. It showed a lot about their character. It was a step forward for us for sure.

    Their zone really gave us a lot of problems tonight. It's difficult to be successful if you give the ball away.

    That is not the way that the leadership of this program wants things represented. I want this to be a life lesson for him. We'll get through it and I have forgiven him, but when Ahmad's gone, there's some other young men in our program right now that all have to learn we never want to make those types of statements.

    It was a feeling of much enjoyment. You can reflect on all the work it took to get us to the moment. Sunday was definitely a special moment. It's been a challenging time for us throughout Atlantic 10 play so far. We want to bottle some of that Wednesday and see what we can do going into La Salle.

    Going from two wins (overall) to seven is progress. But if there's any program in the country that needed early success in conference play, it would be us. We didn't get those but we just have to continue on.

    Our overall talent base has improved. We have some young men that went home over the summer and improved their games. We're continuing to take it step by step. Is the progress we want to make as quick as anybody would like Certainly not. But there is progress being made and we're going to continue to represent this university in a way that shows we're of high character.

    It's a great story and I'm very happy for him. I continue to wish him the best. Mike and his family did what they felt was best for Mike at the time. I understood that at that time and still understand that now.

    I give a lot of credit to Fordham. They made a lot of plays on both ends of the floor.

    This is another bump in the road, but we'll get through it. With that injury comes opportunity for some other young people. And we're going to get him back as quickly as we possibly can.

    Isiah always gave a consistent effort for our program and he will be missed. At the same time, his departure creates opportunities for other individuals.

    Our character came through today. The result was that we were rewarded with a win.

    Tonight was disappointing. After the 10-minute mark (of the first half), it just was not our night. We had a hard time again getting into any offensive rhythm.
