That we, in this church Lord, that we may worship you in truth
that our hearts would be open to the fact of your life, the truth of your sacrifice
the surety of your return and the need for our witness
the example we should give, the spirit speaking within us
that we would be your messengers, your servants,
your hands and feet, your presence in the world around us
that we would act as you would act, that we would heal in your holy name
that we would be emissaries of your love,
forever praising your name, the source of our strength
