Unlike us with feet of clay
our creator, our maker
without beginning or end
the one who shaped the world
made the concept of time as well
spans for our understanding
measured in second, minutes, years
God, eternal, before there was time
remember me, in your grace
continue to guide my steps in this life
as my days continue to gray
