Working out my salvation
humble, as Christ was,
regarding others better than me
humble clay, ever pliable
forever changeable by the potter
with the fear of God,
trembling, the spirit within me
Guide me Spirit growing inside
Conform my ways to yours
Christ the templar, the example
humble, even to death, a servant,
So must I be; the loving response
to God’s saving grace.
