So hard to grapple with the folly of our choices
the stubborn march to dismay, destruction
the lost souls of the times of the prophets
those her heard Lady Wisdom, and chose another path
those like you and me, reading the lines of wisdom
in the pages of a wisdom book,
seeing the echoes of our own lives,
missed chances, poor choices,
missed opportunities, to enjoy grace
fruits of following a better path
glad for those time we have listened
listened to her call, not losing our way
in the chattel, the dross of daily living
but clinging to the true way
to enlightenment, to wisdom
to salvation
