Images flowing, deep within my memory
coming forth in words together
as if I am there again
in moments of time
fragments of my journey
clear to this moment
coming back to life
What makes the mind remember
sometimes a word, a conversation
others a smell, the texture of a thing
bringing that moment back to life
The people, places, the seconds of our lives
caught in the gossamer of time
stored in our memory
