A message in the words chosen
the way the story unfolds
the journey, the dusty road
the stranger, awareness coming
meaning too in what is left out
the name of the other
the disciple walking the road
their words not recorded
their thoughts unknown
We are walking with them
unnamed disciples on the road
walking with the stranger
finding Christ when we are ready
in simple things
on our journey home.
