We participate in communion
in the sharing of the body and the blood
when we are serving our brothers, our sisters
when we are going and caring with love
In the simple tasks, the little things
the daily service of the church
when we buy food, when we wash dishes
we offer a hand, a hope,
a bit of the love of God
to our neighbors,
to the body
all of us together,
one bread, one body
united in love
