Other faiths, our traditions
understanding them, spending time
with them, lessons we can all learn
we are walking, in their steps, hearing
the wisdom, their creed, spending
moments only, to touch their
meanings, to start the process,
to see their essence, compare
to ours, better get along, live
as one world community
Heeding the call of our pastor,
the world’s message
spending time in their shoes,
shawl, prayer rug, traditions
long enough perhaps
to begin
to see their point of view
