(Thursday)
A stark simple meal
washing our feet
stripping the church
carrying out the Christ
on the cross
(Friday)
Another day,
in the church
rich meaning
the words of the Passion
in the Gospel
a dead savior
carried out,
wrapped, placed in the tomb
(Saturday)
Holy Saturday
prepared oils, spices
to anoint His still body
We too, waiting
expectantly, for the morning
