Whiter than white,
he shone in brilliance,
sealing the fulfillment
standing with Elijah,
with Moses,
Peter, James, and John
far off, a bit confused
at His appearance
somewhat, as he truly was
the Son, the Beloved,
with whom the Father
was well pleased
Ready now for this journey
fully prepared
for the cross
