Since God has, in his generosity,
Granted you such good fortune now
In all good standing to be free to go,
With a clear conscience, from captivity,
Give thanks for his heavenly clemency
Which is the source and cause of all accord,
And with a humble heart pray to the Lord
That in my long ordeal he pity me.
