As faithful disciples,
as people of faith,
a Christian community
called, charged
to see others,
not with society’s eyes
With the eyes of God
deep within,
not on surface differences
on the things which bind us
seeing others, rich and poor,
male and female, black and white
all of us the same
in the eyes of God
All of us fallen
all of us worthy of love
by his grace alone
