For a fleeting moment
he was the only other one
able, by faith,
to exceed his imagination
his own failings,
his own perceived limitations
the very thing that makes him
a perfect candidate
So human
For his ultimate call
Able to step out and walk
with immediate confidence
at his master’s call
to defy physics and logic
to walk on liquid water,
while he believed.
