Nothing glamorous
not regal or with pomp
Christ coming into the world
a babe in the manger
Living all of his life
in the nature of a servant
going the way of the cross
humble before God
In him we find
the true example of love
the witness of God’s grace
serving our fellow man
A reward in heaven above
not in this troubled world
following in his footsteps
each of us picking up our cross
Serving to be exalted
in the name of Christ
faithful to our master
offering all God’s endless love
