They were doing their work
sitting by the sea, mending their nets
what they had always done
the task at hand
He came to them, called them
out of their lives, to another calling
to fish for people, for the human heart
to bring us into a relationship
with God. But He didn’t say all of that
Those things would come later
He merely said to follow me
I need you, I have called you
and they left all
and followed him
