In the judgment of the flood
the world washed anew
man and animals swept away
But the decision of God
the covenant, rainbow
Hope down to this present age
God choosing, to grant us grace
even knowing the nature of man
promising never to destroy the whole earth
to wash the world with a flood
In his loving response
his forgiveness and care
we may walk closer to him
Turning to the Christ
the one who came down
we are able to be
reconciled to him
