In the middle of our intercession
the prayers, the concerns of the people
slowing to remember,
to raise prayers of thanksgiving
to the one who came to earth
to our brother, our friend, the Christ
for his humanity, his sacrifice,
for his choice to descend, to serve,
to heal and the die
rising to save all of us
after his walk on this earth
