Crying, in anguish
tears for His children
aware of the pain their sin has cost
Unable to judge, to hold them accountable
choosing to die on the cross instead
Loving us children, as only He is able
to the point of painful death on the cross
Rising so we are washed of our stain
taking on the pain do us
