As they asked, we ask him
teach us to pray
the words of the prayer
A reverent prayer to God
honoring the father
as he would do,
when he went to the mountain
to talk with God, to pray
Calling on the coming
his kingdom, praying
for our needs to be met
prayers for forgiveness,
for forgiving ourselves
over all powers,
protection from evil
by the loving hands of God
