Coming down the stairs
from the office to the
living room, dining room, kitchen
descending into the cloud, the
glorious smell, mouth-watering
the smell of the cheeseburgers,
our lunch, freshly grilled
the apartment saturated,
pervaded, infused
by the wondrous aroma,
the taste of the meat
still in anticipation
