Puss with a ribbon met pussy with none.
Who stopped for a friendly chat;
But the ribboned Pussy said coldly “Begone,
You common, insolent cat!
Your social position is open to doubt,
While the badge of my own I wear,”
And Puss with a ribbon at Puss without
Looked straight with a stony stare.
