Moth in the sofa, mines upon the shore:
The Skylark’s leaking, and the Pier’s no more.
For four long years we’ve seen the ‘seaside’ bleed,
And Southern ‘fronts’ were at the front indeed.
Britannia, spare a penny for their pain:
We’d like to be beside the sea again.
