If only we would just run forward,
mile on mile, not look backward,
behind us, second guessing, looking for the pack
the enemy, the assurance of the approval
of society, peers, neighbors, friends
If we could only look to the Savior,
follow the Spirit, live the scriptures
We must run the race that has been set before us
and focus on our reward at the finish line
