The clouds, moving
perceptible in the moonlight
cutting through the dome
placed upon the cobalt
the arc of the dark
the night sky drawing me
up, up, to look
Too bright for the stars
washed by the moon
the cold snap of autumn
surely leading to doom
the cold of winter
all too nearby
the harvest moon cold
against the cobalt sky
