A mini fashion show was held
on our living room rug, a short
parade of two, showing off
their best bib and tucker
freshly coifed hair
new black tights, shoes just so
ready for Picture Day
A larger, less organized parade
down the sidewalk, as other marchers
joined my two, a growing throng,
holding forms and
walking a little more carefully
maybe a bit more confidence
on Picture Day
