The prayer of Christ
offered for the disciples
all of us, for all generations
praying that our joy, like his own,
that our joy may be complete,
fully mature, ripe, holy fruits
ready for the harvest
living, growing, abiding in the vine
bearing fruit, realizing the strength
the joy in connection,
walking with our brother
part of the body of the church
the vine, the oneness of God
