The brokenness, the piece of our cracked
shattered vessels, the clay dropped
by our own hands
The potter, still, when we come to him
falling on our knees, running to our father
humbly, as a child, as a servant
The potter gathering our shards
the broken vessel, put upon the wheel
living waters, the potter’s tears
bringing us to life once more,
made knew, molded again
into the plan God has for us
once more new, shaped
by the potter’s loving hands
