Walking in the path
of saints who have gone before
our lives conformed, or so we try,
to be on the journey, following the steps
of our savior, trying to be our brother
continuing his work, his ministry
his mission, to bring all to the father
His sacrifice, his gift, his healing
reconciling all of us to the master
to our creator, our God.
This man, son of God though he was,
choosing as a human, to lay down his life
knowing that our sin was now his own.
Humbly we strive, to remember his life
to be Christ for the world
each day, on this journey
