To breath his hounds while mighty Charles prepares
To hunt and course the soft swift lightfoot Hares,
Iove poures downe unexpected showers of raine,
And his intended journey doth restraine.
He saw in’s shield the Lyons mouth to wide
With a Hare to be filled or satisfied.
