Thank you God, that I am not destined
to be measured by my works,
that I will not have to weigh,
my good and bad karma,
to fashion a further step upward,
or downward, in a next life
that You gift, Your saving gift,
is all I need, in faith
to claim an eternal prize,
communion with you
help me ever, to act
as if my fate rested on my works
to fall in supplication and praise
at Your feet, to bear witness
to the gospel, the good news
of Your love and Your sacrifice
that makes us all whole once more
