Each of our lives
just as of old
to be measured
against the plumb line
Yet none of us worthy
to come before God
all falling short of perfection
needing our savior
The blood of the lamb
poured out to balance
righting the scales
wiping clean the slate
Making us straight
all of us right
in the loving eyes
of almighty God
