Letting go of our anger, giving forgiveness
the shackles keeping us from life
pain of our past
so long ago, remembered
carried through too many of our days
life more richly, brighter, worth living
opened up when we let go of our pain
The past cannot be changed
we must go onward
the forgiveness we give
gives us new life
