The bread of life
a metaphor for the living Son
but think of the elements
the wheat, the leavening, water
the process, the kneading
the shaping, the coming into being
when was it when he became bread
moved past the pieces, the parts
I think it was when he felt
the weight of the dove
descend upon him
when the voice spoke
His beloved, with him
he was well pleased
Ready for his calling
his mission here
Living bread
broken for us all
willingly
