There was Peter, John
sitting at the table, with Christ
sitting there on the night
the Passover meal to share
Judas too, sharing in the meal,
the new covenant made by Christ
his body, his blood,
even before, Judas too
at the table, with them
his feet washed by Christ
a servant at his feet,
in that moment,
in the upper room
sharing the meal,
the body, the blood
the meal we all share
