In these
two commandments
distilling all of the law
all the wisdom of the people
simple really,
if we would but do this
love of God
love for man
balance and focus
for all of our days
Loving God,
showing mercy,
humbly walking
here on earth
fighting for justice
as we are able
going forth
to do God’s work
