Sorrow, why is it dark within your house,
When grief is borne of love that is a flame?
Light torches, Sorrow, Love will lose the way
And see not who shall call upon his name.
“Alas! What need have Love and I of light?
My heart holds darkness that no torch can find.
Alas ! What need have Love and I of light?
What torch can show the way when Love is blind?”
