Oh if Murphy had been right,
the story would have ended
oh so differently
He was right, the world was right
on Good Friday, the doubters,
the scoffers, the power elite,
He wasn’t so different,
the world ordered as they saw it
they were in control
He wasn’t the one
The one hanging
on the cross
The savior who wasn’t
the imposter, the heretic
the false claim to the divine
All would be lost
if Murphy was right
