Living fibers
hairs and legs
tendrils, radiating outward
downward to the depths
like albino house centipedes
bursting for attention
in the shafts of glorious
wondrous Easter day light
calling the eye of the attentive
to the beautiful of the roots
suspended in the glass
longing for recognition
for revelation
in the living room
