He bowed, weighed down by his breach
his sin, before God, bowing low
begging the creator, for forgiveness
of his sin, to be made clean
himself a sacrifice, humbly bowing
before the Lord. A lesson of the people
in the depth of his pain, in knowing
the distance from God,
his need for the Father’s loving grace
