A comment several weeks ago
about wondering about her gifts
why she wasn’t good at verse
or speaking in church
Hoping she understands
her life her testament
raising children and
the next generation
giving her little rest
Many operations
maladies of age
slow her steps
but don’t defeat her
staying positive
Her gift, of presence
assurance for us
sitting there in her place
in her pew getting rest
seeking his grace
Here on Sunday early
walking up the ramp
faithful worship worthy
of these lines of verse
Maybe in this season
faithfulness enough
here even through struggle
seeking God ever
one saint of our church
