The Christ, coming again
the babe in the manger
balance to the excess
the falseness of this age
Bringing, offering
gifts of hope
to the thirsty, the hungry
all those in need
Triumphant king,
entering hearts open
those who are humble
aware of the meaning
his coming again
God as man into the world
the babe in the manger
Holy Spirit, with us now
guides us back to God
so we may open
gifts of hope
so freely given
offered by Christ
obedient to God’s will
going to the cross
that we may live
