like the message,
the story in the devotion
I was touched by the relationship
connection in meeting this man
something like the experience
the pastor shared
happening to me
coming face to face with Christ
a strange, carrying his small child
standing before me, my brow sweating
the man seeking conversation
a bit of grace, of welcome
refugee, foreigner, from distant land
unable to do his work,
looking for open hearts
a place of welcome
in this new place,
this new land
