The friends of the man
showing extravagant love
out of their faith in Christ
lifting him up
Risking injury
carrying him to the roof
lowering him down
right in front of Christ
Sharing with their friend
the truth that he could heal
believing enough
bringing him to Christ
Christ responding
to their extravagant love
healing him in an instant
causing him to praise God
So much meaning
when we share Christ’s love
carrying our friends, our neighbors
to the feet of God
