Reaching the strangers
those around us
all the people of the earth
out in the world
In our presence and mercy
our compassion, our witness
sharing Christ with the nations
to all whom we meet
Especially through our prayers
acted out in service
our hands and feet doing
the work of the Lord
We may show God to the people
perhaps those who need it most
put there beside us
for the purpose of God
Not questioning the path
the journey of our days
submitting instead
to the calling of God
