How lucky they were,
these fishermen
when the nets were empty
what a turn of fortunes
from failure, to call by the Messiah
to walk in other footsteps,
to follow another path
to heed the master’s voice
and leave full nets
filling by following the master’s call,
the first time
Making the second so much easier
to following his call
to leave all and follow him
