I fashioned you:
Composed you between darkness and dawn.
You are my best-made poem
The one I labored longest over.
What does one do with a poem?
One gives it to the world.
Go, darling, delight others
As you have delighted me.
Bring your fragrant freshness
To lover and lover.
In their loins sow madness and fever
That my fame may endure forever.
