Gathering in worship
coming together
bright sounds of children
hugs all around
Wishing for your presence
centering our spirits
coming into worship
to sit at your feet
Oh come Holy Spirit
descend upon us
fall down from heaven
to be in our midst
Hear the cries of your children
the sheep here in the flock
the prayers for the people
outside, in the dark
Steel our hearts
assuage our fears
give us feet to go
out into the world
Bearing the message
the words written
your promise engraved
on the tablets of our hearts

Call to Worship
“God calls us together as his children
to reassure us of his love, to encourage
our care for each other, to remind us
of our responsibilities, and to send us out
as people who bear his name,
Come, let us worship him!”
2 Timothy 3:14-4:5
Psalm 119:105-112 (Common English Bible)
