We that have been saved
are clothed with Christ
coated by the example of the risen Lord,
who humbled himself
while here on earth
who walked in sandals
on the dusty roads,
who was without a home,
a migrant preacher
out in the wilderness
Clothed with his worker’s hands
to do the work he left
for us to complete,
to do greater than he
through the sands of time
until the new creation
each of us is destined to be
