Were we chasing her
Or was she chasing us
Down the road
Under that starry starry night
Lashed in the seats
Craning to see her face
Cool and full
Around corner and curve
Down the highway
’round the cloverleaf
Into the parking lot
Tracking our progress
From home to church
And back again
Under La Luna’s watchful eye
